Will it smell?

For about ten minutes, like a farm pond. Then it disappears completely as soil biology metabolizes it.

Is it safe around pets and kids?

Yes. Trout Boost contains nothing your dog couldn't drink. We still recommend washing harvested produce.

Can I use it with synthetics?

You can — but you usually won't need them within two seasons. Microbial soil unlocks nutrients that bagged fertilizer just hands you.

How long does a bottle last?

The 1-gal treats up to 16,000 sq ft for a full season; 2.5-gal covers 40,000; 5-gal covers 80,000. That's less than $0.01 per sq ft
